We are all different; this we know. From our hopes and dreams to our everyday lives and the bodies and minds we live in; we are all unique in every way.
This follows true when it comes to our health and wellbeing. Whilst some of us are fortunate enough to have found a good and happy balance between and within our personal and professional lives, some of us do not always feel this way.
Periodically, we may find ourselves juggling too many balls, leaving us feeling sad or physically unable to cope with the ongoing demands of our lives. We may feel slightly out of kilter or even may feel out of control. It may be that one or more aspects of our personal or professional lives are having an overbearing effect and leaving us feeling mentally tired, overwhelmed or suffering with stress or anxiety.
Feelings of overwhelm or anxiety, whilst they may seem it, are not normally themselves the issue but the symptom of something else. The root or underlying causes of these feelings can be internal things, such as feelings of self-worth or confidence, or external factors that we find ourselves dealing with such as our health, family stresses or our work taking a lot out of us. Or both.
Feeling that we have no choices can have a detrimental effect on our sense of wellbeing.
Life, health and wellness coaching is a positive future focussed intervention that is all about you, led by you to address your individual needs. Coaching works to discover what or where the bottlenecks or underlying causes of ongoing unhelpful situations might be and works to open up your choices around these areas. Having a plan of action and seeing positive results will immediately help to make you feel more in control.
